To help select the unit you require you need to determine the Theoretical Room Volume of the room in which it is to be fitted. This is done as follows:-
1. Determine the Actual Room Volume in cubic metres.
2. Estimate how many air changes per hour occur in the room to determine the AC Factor.
No. of room air changes = AC Factor
3. Multiply Actual Room Volume by the AC Factor = Theoretical Room Volume.
4. Select a suitable unit with a capacity that exceeds the theoretical room volume determined. For rooms with a severe odour problem select a unit with the next size up capacity and adjust the output control until a satisfactory result is obtained.
Exhaust Duct Applications Only
1. Only use a piped output unit for this type of application.
2. Determine the air flow rate of the exhaust duct fan in cubic metres/hr.
3. Using the air flow rate select a suitable unit.
N.B.The maximum air flow rate recommended for any particular generator should not be exceeded otherwise performance will be affected.
